Overall amazing. Consistently high quality food and fantastic mango lassi. Food could be slightly more rich in flavor but that is more of a personal preference.

I love Shalimar. The food is incredible and since moving to Louisville I have ordered or dined in almost every single week. I am a big fan of the Chicken curry, chicken korma, and the chicken biriyani. I like the chicken Somoza and vegetable samosa a lot too (dip it in the tamarind sauce!) as an appetizer. Make sure to get some naan, my favorite is the garlic naan.
Mango lassi is the perfect texture and is the right amount of sweet without being too sweet. I’ve had Indian food from may other places in town but this one is hands down my favorite.
